At the first meeting a designer from DG Remodeling
will come to your home to discuss your remodeling project. Discussion
will include your objectives and desires, any concerns you may have
about the proposed remodeling project, as well as budget considerations.
We will discuss options, provide recommendations, take photos, and
measure the space. With all this important information, the designer
will then develop a few conceptual layouts and an approximate estimate
to complete the project.
Once the designer has these layouts and estimate
put together, he or she will schedule a time with you to present
the basic concept along with the cost estimate. At this time, if
you are comfortable with the plans and pricing, the designer will
draw up a design agreement *, which will allow the designer to proceed
further with the design process. * The design agreement is simply a contract between
DG Remodeling and you, which outlines your budget and our responsibilities.
At this point a fee is charged, depending the size and scope of
the project. This fee is a retainer for the work and services of
DG Remodeling, so we can proceed further with the design. This fee
is then credited towards the total cost of the job once remodeling
contract is signed. |
